Now that award show season has finished up, I thought I would dish out my own set of awards. Oh yes, for the first time ever -- The Blockchain Barbie Awards. This list is comprehensive of many things, so buckle down and read up!

Now, let’s get down to business. These awards have taken lots of time, thought, and a bit of creativity. They range from blockchain, women in technology, trends, and basically whatever else. No, no. There are no statues or record players being handed out here. The prize? Well, a golden crown, of course. Who will be placed upon my white and gold thrown? May the best win!

• @TheLazyCEO -- Owner and Creator of ShowPo -- Jane Lu

  • I mean, if you haven’t shopped on ShowPo.com you are MISSING OUT! Cutest clothes, great prices, and an insta account that makes you always want to be on vacation. Jane Lu, dubbed The Lazy CEO, is an absolute machine. She will make you feel like you can accomplish anything. Plus, she refers to her dream team as the ShowPo Drinking Team. That’s just so important.

Favorite Technology Organization

• Kode with Klossy

  • Karlie Kloss where you AT! First off, she is one of my favorite women EVER, but also how awesome that she is a fellow coder?! Her nonprofit organization, Kode with Klossy, empowers girls to learn code with scholarships, bootcamps, and so much more. If I was still in high school I would definitely be attending one of her camps.

Favorite Business Book

  • Part memoir and part business manual, if you’re looking for a unique business book about achieving success and overcoming triumph, THIS IS IT. Seriously, the inside story of Juicy Couture and it’s founders, Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor, is every bit as fun and colorful as the Juicy Couture brand itself. Plus, the lessons are actually really helpful and applicable. I promise this will be a business book you won’t want to put down.

Favorite Blockchain/Bitcoin Publication

• yBitcoin Magazine

  • yBitcoin Magazine is essentially a guide to all things Bitcoin and crypto, but also blockchain. As part of the blockchain media powerhouse, BTC Media, yBitcoin is an actual magazine covering literal “how to” guides and awesome features. You will feel 100x smarter after reading an issue. Fun fact, yBitcoin Magazine was the first piece thing I EVER read on anything blockchain or crypto. It totally made me catch the blockchain bug all of those years ago!

Favorite Podcast

• WSJ Secrets of Wealthy Women

  • This Wall Street Journal podcast is not one to miss. Whenever I’m looking for a motivational pick me up, I always find myself looking towards women who I aspire to be. What better women to look to than some of the most wealthy and successful ones! Seriously, these interviews are extremely interesting and helpful. From their best money tips, to finding personal style and/or managing your career and social life, these women have tons of wisdom. Catch interviews from all sorts of bosses including Nicole Miller, Ayesha Curry, Moira Forbes, Bobbi Brown, Maria Sharapova, and so many more.

  • Do I even need to explain this one? The reboot of The Hills is already going to be the highlight of my summer. LC, you will be missed. Adding Mischa Barton? Genius. It’s like The OC and The Hills all in one! Seriously, June 24th cannot come soon enough.
